All Points Celebrates “Win-Win-Win” with Eikon Research in Mentor-Protégé Partnership

HUNTSVILLE, AL, February 7, 2023

When it comes to creating a “win-win-win” scenario, All Points thrives, and their recent “Mentor-Protégé” partnership with woman-owned company, Eikon Research is an example of just such a scenario. All Points Logistics, LLC (All Points), a diversified technical services company serving the space and defense industry, is proud to celebrate a successful first anniversary of their Mentor-Protégé partnership with Eikon Research, Inc. (Eikon), a woman-owned small business, based in Huntsville, Alabama, that develops, tests, and implements radar and infrared systems. Eikon specializes in the design and analysis of these technologies during all stages of development: from concept to implementation.

When All Points was awarded a Mentor-Protégé contract by the Department of Defense and the U.S. Army a year ago, the Army Office of Small Business Programs concurred that, not only is Eikon developing critical, leading edge radar and software technology that benefits the warfighter; they also have the talent and the right capabilities to be supported and honed through the Mentor-Protégé program.

All Points’ company journey is proof that the Mentor-Protégé program not only bolsters younger companies but also helps “Protégé” companies grow to become vital and helpful “Mentor” companies as well. All Points was the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA’s) first Protégé, mentored by Boeing in 2003. Then, in 2016, All Points became the first MDA protégé to become an MDA mentor company.

Because of their extensive experience and proven performance, All Points is in an ideal position to be a mentor and—with a strong desire to promote small companies developing technologies that serve the warfighter—can benefit protégé companies like Eikon by forging a path that All Points has already traveled. Eikon Research Owner Stephanie Cunningham shared her agreement, “The Army Mentor-Protégé program has given us access to industry experts and advisors, advancing our radar technology and back-office preparedness.”

For the first year of the contract, All Points has been working with Eikon to achieve four major tasks for technology transfer purposes, including Software Development, Engineering Development, Product Delivery, and Certifications. This partnership with Eikon provides solutions for the Army, the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM), and to other federal agencies.

Mentoring small businesses is a focus of All Points’ strategic vision, and their partnership with Eikon Research is a successful example. “We are proud of the work that Stephanie, Jason, and their team have achieved this past year,” shared Phil Monkress, All Points CEO. Through the Mentor Protégé Program, Eikon Research’s ability to serve the Army, DoD, other government agencies, and ultimately the Warfighter, has been enhanced through its application of the training and assistance they have received from All Points. The development assistance creates a ‘win-win-win’ scenario for the Protégé, Mentor, and the Army. We look forward to continued work with them.”
