Part 2 of 2

September 23, 2021 – A corporate innovative culture can be articulated, implemented, and fulfilled in many ways; All Points cultivates and expands its employees’ skills through mentoring small companies. Through assisting emerging companies with exciting intellectual property, All Points employees hone their skills in mentoring, coaching, leading, and addressing emerging industry problems with innovative solutions. Through the mentor-protégé relationships, All Points helps small companies avoid some of the pitfalls of growth, while the leadership at All Points continues to offer its employees opportunities to grow and learn.

All Points retention is greater than 94% annually, and our innovative and collaborative culture is a significant reason for the minimal turnover. Another outcome of the corporate culture is that our customers continue to report highly satisfactory customer performance ratings. Corporate employees enjoy the opportunity to work alongside our customers and protégés, knowing they improve their own skills and potentially increase All Points’ corporate value through the development of new ideas, products, and services.

“All Points’ is committed to providing our employees a stable work environment with equal opportunity for learning and personal growth.  Creativity and innovation are encouraged for improving our effectiveness,” Stephanie Sherby, VP/GM, quoted from the corporate values statement.  All Points invests in employee training, certifications, and advanced education but also nurtures a collaborative environment within the company and with its partners. Part of All Points’ mission is to shape the future. Unlike a typical job, this team has an opportunity to create something that does not exist, work on their ideas, and also assist a small company to succeed.

Actively supporting Huntsville companies, All Points has begun a new mentor-protégé relationship (M/P) in support of DoD. Utilizing a Broad Area Announcement (BAA) award from the U.S. Army, DoD will benefit by All Points’ providing assistance in the development of Eikon Research, Inc., a Woman-owned Small Business (WOSB). This dynamic software technology company with their unique sensor hardware is an emerging company with highly technical and production capabilities for some of the Army, Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC), and the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) most complex sensor requirements. This M/P relationship is a perfect match that will aid in developing core capabilities of both companies, resulting from differing markets.

Through this formal relationship, Eikon Research will become a stronger, creative, and competitive prime/subcontractor to DoD. As a result of the Mentor-Protégé agreement,  All Points employees such as COL (Ret) Mark Arn, former Army Research and Development Engineering Command Director for Current Operations on emerging rapid technologies and MDA Program Manager for X-Band Sensors, and COL USMC (Ret) Kevin Hoey, former Senior Manager, Programs and Business Development Executive at GDIT, Defense Division, continue to hone not only their mentoring and leadership skills, but are involved in applying Eikon Research capabilities towards the most complex technical issues in the DoD. “This relationship allows All Points Contracts, Operations, and Business Development leadership to engage in new contract vehicles, new business markets, and management of emerging technologies that are either currently or developing within All Points’ core capabilities,” said Arn.

All Points maintains a significant presence in Huntsville, AL, providing support to NASA, the MDA, and other federal agencies. All Points is an innovative company involved in some of the most complex NASA operations in terms of software development, information technology, modelling and simulation, and cybersecurity.  For the MDA, All Points provides support on the TEAMS Next engineering contract, support to MDA OEMs, and is developing cybersecurity solutions.  All Points is currently developing a state of the art Center for Innovative Technology Excellence (CITE) with distributed capabilities among various centers in Florida, Alabama, and Texas; consequently, the combination of Eikon’s technology and skills furthers capability development, especially in software development and modelling and simulation.  “This Mentor/Protégé relationship with Eikon Research enhances the capabilities of both companies in supporting some of the most challenging requirements within the DoD and other agencies,” said Arn.

All Points understands the benefits of supporting small businesses through a mentor-protégé relationship. All Points was the MDA’s first protégé, mentored by Boeing. All Points continues to be a subcontractor for Boeing, has been selected as a Boeing Preferred Supplier, and has been named a Boeing Supplier of the Year twice. Today, All Points is an accomplished mentor under the DoD small business program and the All Small Mentor Protégé Program (ASMPP) through the SBA. In 2016, All Points became the first MDA mentor that was a previous protégé.

All Points is a mid-sized, dynamic, award winning company with a successful track record. Some of our accolades include NASA Subcontractor of the Year, Boeing Supplier of the Year, Motorola Supplier of the Year, NASA KSC Subcontractor of the Year, and NASA KSC Small Business of the Year.
