21 Jul All Points Supporting Return of U.S. Astronauts to the Moon
Huntsville, AL (July 21, 2020) – Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, has kicked off product development teams for its Human Landing System (HLS) that will return astronauts to the lunar surface by 2024 as part of NASA’s Artemis program. All Points is a key contributor to the Dynetics HLS assembly, integration, test, launch, and operations teams. Having concluded a definitized contract, All Points will provide logistics and transportation support to the program.

“All Points is rapidly expanding our engineering and technical workforce in this community”, said Huntsville-based John Hall, who led the All Point’s HLS partnership with Dynetics. “Our Software Center for Innovation and Technical Excellence is a key resource for Artemis and other NASA, DoD and government customers.”
The Dynetics HLS approach enables a reusable, commercially supported two-stage lander that will accommodate up to four crew members for trips between lunar orbit and the lunar surface. The team’s HLS is designed for launch on either the Space Launch System or the United Launch Alliance Vulcan.
With Dynetics as the prime contractor, the team of small and mid-sized businesses and NASA partners is arrayed across 17 U.S. states. Major components and subsystems will be built, tested, and integrated at a Dynetics facility in northern Alabama.
