07 Sep Arctic Fox JV Combines Expertise and Experience to Create “Force Multiplier” of IT Solutions
Merritt Island, FL: Arctic Fox Government Solutions, LLC (Arctic Fox), a Joint Venture between Excentium Inc. and All Points Logistics LLC, brings the experience and expertise demanded to support a program that detects and defends against cybersecurity threats. Founded in January 2022, the goal of this Mentor-Protégé Joint Venture is to create a “force multiplier” that will provide solutions addressing management and planning of IT services in the sectors supply chain risk management, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps.
When asked the meaning behind the name Arctic Fox, JV managing partner and Excentium President & CEO Colin Corlett shared his own personal connection. Colin’s call sign in the military was “Silver Fox” (due to his early onset of salt and pepper hair). This became a nickname that stuck with him for many years after his service. When Colin and All Points CEO Phil Monkress began work on their potential Joint Venture partnership, they both recognized that their mutual “white hair” represented the wisdom and resiliency that is only gained with age and years of experience. Colin elaborated, “We both recognized to be successful in our environment one must be resilient. Fortitude and perseverance together embody resilience. When researching these words, we discovered that the Arctic Fox, with its white fur was revered for both, which we felt best embodied our goals for this new partnership.”
Colin also shared his thoughts on the strength and diversity of capabilities now available through the Arctic Fox joint venture, “Our JV expands on our long-standing relationship and formal SBA Mentor Protégé arrangement with All Points. As the managing member of the JV, Excentium, an SDVOSB, brings 17 years of cybersecurity and compliance experience to expand All Points’ offerings into their customer market (such as NASA) while All Points’ experience in IT, engineering, and cyber and information security adds value to Excentium’s customer portfolio, which includes the Defense Health Agency (DHA), the VA, and other customers. The blending of our combined capabilities enables us to offer Supply Chain Risk Management, Continuous Authorization innovations, and other total solutions to our customers.”
